Douglas Fir trees are everywhere in the Pacific Northwest, and April felt constantly inspired by them throughout her trip down Highway 1 last fall. On the coast, they commonly live at least 500 years. They are often planted in reforestation efforts throughout the region—and for good reason, they’re hardy and lovely evergreens.
April casts Douglas Fir bark pieces in sterling silver and fashioned them into hoop earrings. From a distance, they might look like regular hoop earrings, but up close you’ll see just how special the bark texture really is. These earthy, fun earrings are already fan favorites!
